Symmetry can be seen in architecture when an object, form, or structure can be divided in two to create a mirror image.

Transformation is seen when a concept, structure, or organization is altered or changed without the original identity being lost.

A line, plane, or volume that gathers and organizes a pattern of forms and spaces.

The way objects and forms are organized in order of importance, through size, shape and placement. Used to emphasize a particular form in a structure.

The way objects repeat in a way that creates a visual echo or pattern.

An imaginary central line connecting two points that help organize asymmetrical or symmetrical forms.

I found symmetry in many different locations on campus, however, I feel this image, taken in our Math and Science Building, is my strongest representation of symmetry.
